Next week, May 4th–8th, is Teacher Appreciation Week—a special time set aside to celebrate and recognize the incredible dedication, passion, and hard work of our AMAZING Gilliard teachers! Our teachers go above and beyond every single day to inspire, nurture, and empower our students. They make learning come alive, encourage every child to reach their potential, and create a positive, welcoming environment for all. If you’d like to show your appreciation, we’ve provided a list of suggested gift items below to help you honor your child’s teacher in a thoughtful way. Every gesture, big or small, makes a difference and brightens a teacher’s day. Thank you so much for your support and partnership in making Gilliard Elementary such a wonderful community. Let’s make this Teacher Appreciation Week extra special for the educators who help our children grow and shine!
Good morning parents. The registration portal will open today for the 2026-2027 school year after 3pm. Be sure to go online and get your students registered as soon as possible. It is very important that you get your child registered to avoid the long registration lines. Gilliard students will come home today with registration information. Please be sure to check their backpacks for this information. Special accommodations will not be made for anyone who does not register before school starts. Thank you!

Our Gator Bash is fastly approaching and we have some AWESOME food vendors coming, Attached you will find the menus for the food trucks that will be on campus. May 1st is going to be a great day for our little Gators, See the attached flyers for details.

Parents if you are interested in your child trying out for a cheerleader for the 2026-2027 school year, please read the information in the attached flyer. There will be a MANDATORY meeting for parents on TODAY, Monday, April 20, 2026 from 4:30pm - 5:30pm in the school's cafeteria. Thank you.
